I'm always on the look out for good greens and these ones are a good mix.
I'll put these ones in the box with my other fabrics for the Vine quilt. The reds with a black overprint have been hard for me to get my hands on.
The next four packs of fabric are from a shopping trip to Quiltsmith a couple of weeks ago. I've got the pattern for Sue Garman's Friends of Baltimore quilt and I'm resisting a start as I must keep on with a couple of other projects first. I'm being very disciplined, how unlike me. Shopping for extra fabrics is allowed and when I give in to temptation, I'll have what I need.
Click on the photos to see what the packs are.

I've got those fabrics by Melody Ross but I hadn't seen those gorgeous children's pattern fabric, they are so cute!! Love your embroidered doilies, I like collecting them for the right price too. I can see you had fun at Quiltsmith. What a great shop, so full of wonderful temptation and inspiring fabrics.

Hey, you deserve a spending spree after what you have been through! The Melody Ross fabrics are my favourites! Fabulous!
Nothing like a bit of retail therapy! I love the sewing fabrics!
I hope you are recovering well!
Love your newest stash members Janet, esp the retro prints. Quiltsmith is a great shop isn't it? xo
The pattern fabric is so cute! And lots of other great finds - love the greens! Oh my goodness, the Baltimore Album pattern is beautiful...I can't wait to see your progress :)
Lots of lovely fabric at your place...love the retro prints.
Great greens ! I saw the vintage fabric in a catalog a week or so ago, I think it is cute...brings back fond memories...but I could not think of anything to use it for. Friends of Baltimore is on your future quilts list, I will enjoy keeping up with your progress on it. How disciplined you are to wait to start it but a great way to get some projects completed knowing there is another great one waiting in the wings.
Happy Stitching Janet!
After your recent experience, treating yourself to some fabric additions is definitely called for! And a delicious grouping indeed. Hoping you are continuing to heal well.
Just posted some photos of cheddar quilts - drop by when you have a moment.
Have a lovely fabric inspired week!
Love to see all your wonderful fabrics. So glad you are doing better. Keep up the good work.
You've got some gorgeous fabric to add to your stash!!!
I remember Betsy McCall paper dolls in the back of the McCall's magazine when I was a child. I always had to wait for my mom to finish reading it before I could cut them out. I thought that was SO unfair! I'll have to look for that fabric. The packs from Quiltsmith will be great to have when you start that quilt. You have some wonderful goodies pictured here!
OH, that vintage looking fabric is so fun.
I feel the same way, you can not have too many green fabrics especially when you applique.
what a nice assortment of those greens, can never have enough, or pink for me ;)
I love the new vintage pattern fabrics. I'll have to get some!
I do believe I recognize some of those vintage patterns depicted on that fabric. (My mother made all our clothes until we were able to do it ourselves.)
Lovely vintage linens too!
(And I'm so glad to learn you are healing so well!)
What lovely fabrics! You will put them all to good use :0)
Gorgeous fabrics Janet...what fun you had shopping.
Love the vintage clothing fabrics...gosh reminds me of what I made and wore back in the 60's...
Julia ♥

I have a few of these. Lovely. And I love that we have the same prints.
