Susan McCord's Vines pattern

As you know, I've been drawing a pattern of my own to stitch a quilt inspired by Susan McCord's  Vines quilt.
I've been focusing on stitching the fifth panel and have got about half way.
Sometimes when I sit and stitch, I go into a zone where the woes of the world don't exist and the mind thinks only of quilty things.

Here's what I've been thinking about. I'd love to share my pattern (for free) with anyone who would be interested in making this quilt and releasing a panel per month for download. There are thirteen panels.
It's not an exact replica, rather my interpretation and I think it gives a similar look to the antique quilt.
If there is enough interest, say more than one or two of you, I'll go ahead with it and would appreciate you leaving me a comment so I can see if it's worthwhile doing.

I would love to have your pattern since it has the same feel as the original quilt. I've seen Susan McCord's vines quilt three times and it always takes my breath away.

I think it's a wonderful idea Janet! I love that quilt. It will have to go on my bucket list -- I REALLY want to do those saw-toothy (you know I can't remember the name of that block) circles first though. Oh, so much to do!!!

The first time I saw a pic of this wonderful quilt, in the Time/Life Books 'American Country - Country Quilts' book, 1989....I've had a note on the page...."MAKE THIS QUILT!" I've been in love with it ever since then!

It is especially perfect for interpretation, one of the reasons I love it!

What a wonderful offer to help us all create a version of this amazing quilt! THANK YOU!

I think knowing how you approached making the panels and made the leaves would really help. Also, I think a group of us all making this quilt together would be great.
