It's the first time I tried echo quilting...
or stipple quilting...
or feathers. It's also the first time I'd tried the dogtooth borders and will probably be the last.
The quilt was made in a year long class with Val Moore and we were all encouraged to set our blocks and design borders with our own plan rather than following a set design. I really like this quilt. The smaller blocks set next to the larger blocks really makes the overall pattern. You did a beautiful job on your applique work as well as your quilting.
