Hug your loved ones.

My dear friends, your thoughts, prayers and good wishes would be much appreciated. Today we lost my beloved DH David's second son. He was only 30 years old and took his own life. He is survived by his partner and his dear 2 year old son.

    Prayers are being sent to all of you. How truly heartbreaking. I have no doubt that he is surrounded with the peace he couldn't find here on earth. A person may never understand what drives another to go to this drastic measure, but we can only believe they are now comforted by the love & light in Heaven.     I am so very sorry!
    A family in our neighborhood is grieving the loss of their 29 yo son to suicide - such a devastating tragedy. I hope you will find yourselves surrounded by loving support and that you will let friends help with whatever they offer. Also hope you will ask for specific support you would appreciate.

    I'm sitting here wishing my friend would take me up on my offers of help... it's really a win/win if you allow yourself to be supported by others. Most of all, please care for yourself as only you know what you need.

    I sorry to hear about your loss. As a gay male quilter, I sympathize on several levels. I'm glad that your son found someone to love and who supported him in his life. I'm glad that you have a grandchild to remind you of him and to help keep his memory alive.

    I am so sorry to hear of your loss. One of my best friends just lost her 21 yr old son the same way. Very tragic for all those involved. Thoughts and prayers for his partner, son, and your family.

    This is the most heartbreaking news. I'm sure David knew he was much loved and in turn, that his child will grow up with that love, too. I can only say from my own experience: trust, embrace, care, cry, and heal as best you can while you love that baby all you can.

    Too tragic. My sister-in-law buried her sister today. In her 30's. Suicide. Same week as your darling young man. The ripples will spread wide. Many hugs to you.

    Having faced this tradegy myself (both brothers) I will say that time does heal, for now the memories are important cherish them.
    I am so glad that you have family to share those moments.
