Sneak peeks at another oldie

I wanted to change my header so I took some photos of some of my Baltimore Album style blocks.See the birds eyes? they are cut out of a fabric I have that's actually not eyes.

I have about twenty blocks done and need to do five more, some inking and compose a border. Whew that's a lot of work! I might finish by the time my hair turns completely grey and I'm in a nursing home.

I haven't worked on any of these blocks this last year. I cut my teeth on applique with them, maybe I should set myself the task of at least doing another block soon.
If you come back, you'll see the whole of these blocks next time.

  1. Oh my goodness - this is what you worked on as you were learning to applique? They are lovely! I took the vine pattern out to enlarge the shapes today and hope to make some copies onto freezer paper tonight. I even think I have enough fabric for the panels - am I committing????
