Kaffe colour

A border of birds...
Princess Feathers...

these are the first two blocks of a four block applique quilt, which are quite large
I managed to do one of the borders, I love the birds.
This is a Kim McLean design available from glorious color

She makes the most wonderful quilts and this is part of her exhibition at the Sydney quilt show. You can see the princess feathers quilt to the far left. The quilt is shown as a close up if you follow the links on the Glorious Color website.
I'm in no hurry to finish this one, I'm enjoying taking my time and I need to have some applique on hand to do. Besides, I have to quilt the tops before they become quilts and I have a few of those!

    but your work and fabric choices for Kim's quilt is just beautiful .

    Oh mum - you know how much I love this - the border is just fab! Such a wonderful design to show off such yummy fabric. I will have to show J when she gets home from school - I think this is her as well.

    This article gives the light in which we can observe the reality. This is very nice one and gives indepth information. Thanks for this nice article. Wondering where to go in 2020? Things to do has ranked as the best include a remote, idyllic island and the design capital.
